MultiView is a new monitor program specifically designed for the M850 meter.
The
SYSTEMMONITOR.EXE
program (which replaces monitor95) displays all measurements,
incorporates a logging facility and communicates with M80x (MultidinV3+),
M81x (Multiled), M84x (MultiDigit), M550 (PowerCom),
M560 (PowerSig) and
the M570 (PowerRelay) units.
This software runs on computers using Windows
98, 2000, XP and NT operating systems. |

Monitor
and setup programs are provided for the M550 (PowerCom), M560 (PowerSig)
and the M570 (PowerRelay). PowerCom and PowerRelay use SystemMonitor
only.

It
is sometimes useful, or necessary, to be able to monitor the exchange
of data or activity on an RS485 network. This enables errors to
be logged and values of registers to be viewed and saved.
RS485MON.EXE
program listens to the bus and saves the data to consecutively numbered
text files. The data saved can be in any or all of the following
formats.
Activity
- Master/Slave communication.
Register
- Contents of registers returned to the Master from a Slave in floating
point format.
Raw
- Packet information in Hexadecimal format.
The program should
be run on a PC which is electrically isolated from the RS485 bus.
If the Master of the network is a PC a spare port can be used and
direct connection made to the bus. A portable computer, e.g. a laptop,
is the best option. PC communication ports 1 or 2 can be used.
This software ONLY runs on Windows 3.11,
95 or 98 operating systems. |
