M850 VT
Secondary Voltage
Read
or Set the VT Secondary Voltage.
The nominal input of the M850 is 280V and the default setting (Primary to Secondary
voltage ratio) is 280:280 which implies that there is no VT in circuit.
If a VT is introduced
the ratio must be programmed into the meter using primary and secondary voltages
to enable the unit to calculate real values.
Values of Secondary Voltage other than 280V will result in a more limited range
and impact on the resolution of the meter.
Example
If the rated system voltage is 11000V and the VT ratio used is 11000:220 (50:1),
the NOMINAL system voltage (M850 internal 100%) is 280/220*11000 = 14000V.
